All evening dresses in our collections are manufactured by our company and they can be altered in many ways with no extra cost. The evening gown can be longer or shorter, it can also be made out of a different fabric and in a different color. Please contact us to check the availability of the color and fabric. We can also alter your evening dress in many other ways - change the neckline, remove the sleeves, add or remove other decorations, etc. Our standard manufacturing time is 14 days - if you need your evening gown faster, please let us know - simply put a note during the checkout.

Evening gowns

Evening gowns are the most formal category of women’s clothing. Long evening gown is a must-have of every lady’s wardrobe, who attends to different events (like dinners and receptions). It is usually a long gown with a neckline, which depth depends on the actual fashion and silhouette. Sometimes it has long shoulders.
A ball gown differs from an evening gowns by the exclusiveness, usually doesn’t have shoulders, it also has deeper neckline, often in brighter colors.
For making the evening gowns and ball dresses, one sometimes uses hand made fabrics, but mostly uses satin, silk and velvet with lace, pearls, sequins, embroidery and ruffles.

Ball dresses

Ball dresses are made from high quality fabric and are bolder. Most of the ball dresses are sleeveless, with a deep neckline. Usually dresses of this type are worn together with a wrap or a shawl (also made of high quality material), wide petticoat, exclusive jewelry and long evening gloves. A ball dress also includes matching shoes and a handbag with short handle.

Evening handbag

The handbag is an important decorative element. As an addition to a ball dress, it should be as small as possible and matching the rest of the dress. Shoes should be delicate, on high heels, pumps or made of satin. Shoes are usually in gold or silver color. If you are wearing a long dress, you can wear more jewelry, but not too much, so that the whole dress will look nice and elegant. The jewelry shall be put on the level of the chest. It is allowed to put a diamond on (traditionally one was worn by married women).

Elements of a woman’s evening dress are:

• an evening gown or a ball gown – ballerina type (ankle long) or full lenght – to the floor.
• evening shoes – formal pumps, sandals or ballet slippers.
• jewelry – earrings and a necklace, optionally rings and bracelets. You shouldn’t wear watches, until it is a very decorative one, with hidden face, which looks like a bracelet.
• evening gloves – if you wear them, they should be “opera” lenght.
• shawl or a wrap and an evening coat.
• an evening handbag – must be with a short handle.
